Join us September 16-22, 2012 for the fifth annual Dine Out For No Kid Hungry!
A national campaign that mobilizes Americans to end childhood hunger by holding bake sales in their communities.
Fine dining and tasting events that help make sure no kid in America grows up hungry.
Share Our Strength salutes the 5,500 Dine Out For No Kid Hungry restaurant participants who raised funds this past September for Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry® Campaign. With the creativity, enthusiasm and hard work of these restaurant leaders and staff, and the help of millions of consumers who supported these restaurants, we are building a national movement to end childhood hunger in America.
The most successful Dine Out For No Kid Hungry fundraisers all credit their employees - from the executive suite or proprietor to the restaurant managers and, most critically, the front - and back-of-the-house staff. An enormous debt of gratitude is owed the managers, waitstaff and kitchen crews who embraced the cause and shouldered the responsibility for executing their restaurant’s fundraising efforts, whether a menu or bounceback promotion, in-store donation drive, social media or public relations push, or other creative tactic.
