Dear Friend,Summer is a particularly tough time for kids facing hunger. No school means there’s no safety net of school meals for kids who don’t get enough to eat at home. But there’s a solution: Free summer meals — funded by the USDA — are available to kids and teens age 18 and under at thousands of summer meals sites across the country. Leading up to summer, we’ve been working hard to expand the number of summer meals sites across the country. Now we need to let kids and their families know that the programs exist, so they can get connected to the meals that they need. I hope you can help us get the word out in your community. To make sure more kids know about free summer meals, we’ve:
Share the flyer however you’d like — on Facebook or Twitter, by printing copies and placing them at your work or by tacking it up on a bulletin board in your local supermarket. By sharing the flyer, you can help personally ensure that kids and families facing hunger in your community know that there’s a resource available to them during the summer months. We rely on the compassion and efforts of No Kid Hungry supporters like you. Thank you for making No Kid Hungry This Summer possible. Sincerely, ![]() Billy Shore Founder and CEO P.S. If you’re not able to donate time but you’d like to support No Kid Hungry This Summer, don’t forget that the Arby’s Foundation is matching every dollar you give this summer, up to $100,000. Every $10 you give can help connect a child with up to 100 meals and the match will help your gift go twice as far. |
